Q1. Which account will be deducted during an ATM/CDM withdrawal?

If the debit card is linked to one account, the withdrawal will automatically be deducted from the designated account. If the debit card is linked to multiple accounts, the cardholder can select the particular account to perform the withdrawal.

Q2. When should I activate/ deactivate the Overseas Transaction?

The Overseas Transaction is blocked by default. You may activate the Overseas Transaction when you are planning to use the card overseas. You may activate Overseas Transaction through BOCM counter, BOCNet, ATM/CDM or by calling our Call Center.

Q3. Under what circumstances ATM/CDM will retain the card?

ATM/CDM will retain the card when:

ATM/CDM malfunction

Non collection of card after performing transaction

Q4. What should I do if the ATM/CDM retained my card?

Please bring your identification document such as NRIC or a valid passport and visit the related branch to claim the BOCM debit card within 10 working days. If the card retained is a reported lost card, the card will not be returned and we will proceed to destroy the card immediately.

For non-BOCM card, BOCM will destroy the card on the same day, cardholder is required to make a report to their own issuing bank to re-issue a new card.
